About

Hi, I'm Emily a girl on a mission to turn fun sewing ideas into patterns you'll actually reach for in your wardrobe.

I went to university to study film and TV production where I completely fell in love with costume design, especially historical and period pieces. That's really where my journey with sewing began.

As much as I loved those garments, I never quite felt comfortable wearing them in everyday life. So I started designing my own clothes, inspired by historical shapes but modernised into pieces I actually wanted to wear out and about. That idea, creating garments that feel special but still wearable, is what sits at the heart of everything I design now.

Sewing has become something I genuinely love. I enjoy the whole process, even the messy parts, the mistakes and the constant unpicking. There's something so satisfying about turning an idea into something you can actually wear.

I also really value the slow fashion side of sewing. I grew up surrounded by nature and it's important to me to create a wardrobe that feels more thoughtful and a little more earth-friendly.

Now, I turn those ideas into sewing patterns designed to be approachable, wearable and genuinely enjoyable to make. Each piece is created with real people in mind and carefully developed to make sure it not only looks good but feels good to wear too.

If you make one of my patterns, I'd love to see so feel free to tag me so I can share your creations <3
